HMG) – We had heard this was a strong possibility, but it’s now been confirmed that Sandra Bullock will make her first public appearance since news broke that her likely soon to be ex husband Jesse James cheated on her. The Blind Side Oscar winner has since been secluded taking care of 3 1/2-month-old son Louis from New Orleans
But Sandra has now confirmed through her rep (via UsMagazine) that she will attend the MTV Movie Awards on June 6, though she won’t be doing any interviews at the ceremony.
The actress, 46, will accept the “MTV Generation Award.” She is the first female recipient to be honored with the award, which acknowledges an actor who has engaged the MTV audience throughout their career. Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, Spike Lee, Mike Myers and Adam Sandler, have previously been honored with this award.
