Kendra Wilkinson sex tape scores record sales
After weeks of well-paid stories playing the victim, followed by a barrage of unleavened hype, Kendra Wilkinson’s first sex-tape emerges today.
Released one week early due to ‘huge demand’ the disk has already earned the 24-year old former Playmate a windfall of $680,000. And her contract with Vivid guarantees her 50% of all sales from here on.
“Kendra has a huge fan base and we’ve been besieged with requests to release the movie,” Vivid’s Steven Hirsch told Radar.
The first installment of what may be Kendra’s new choice of career is now the best selling title in Vivid’s history – Outstripping even Kim Kardashian’s duet with ex-boyfriend, Ray J, which she sold to the company in 2007 for $5-million, after a similar ‘victim’ campaign and a hi-profile lawsuit, which she never pursued.
Made in 2004 when she was 18, Kendra’s tape features ex-boyfriend, Justin Frye, plus some rather interesting scenes with a lady.
But Kendra is now married to the Philadelphia Eagles’ Hank Baskett, and is scheduled to face Hank’s deeply religious parents at the younger couple’s “Tee’d Off About Child Abuse” Celebrity Golf match this weekend.
The event is intended a benefit to support a center for victims in Clovis, New Mexico, which Hank’s father runs. Kendra put on a brave face for the event’s official reception on May 21, but by midnight – after several drinks – sources say she was begging Hank to let her escape.
“Hank’s dad kept rubbing her back and calling her ’sweetie’,” one guest recalls.
The next morning Kendra hid in her room, finally emerging at around 11am with her mother, Patti. The pair then tried to get lunch, but Kendra soon fled back to the room and refused to come out until she and the family left the hotel.
And the moral of the story is clear – When you deliberately lie to get cheap publicity, payback can be a real bitch…
Sandra Bullock to Make First Public Appearance Since Husband’s Affair Scandal
HMG) – We had heard this was a strong possibility, but it’s now been confirmed that Sandra Bullock will make her first public appearance since news broke that her likely soon to be ex husband Jesse James cheated on her. The Blind Side Oscar winner has since been secluded taking care of 3 1/2-month-old son Louis from New Orleans
But Sandra has now confirmed through her rep (via UsMagazine) that she will attend the MTV Movie Awards on June 6, though she won’t be doing any interviews at the ceremony.
The actress, 46, will accept the “MTV Generation Award.” She is the first female recipient to be honored with the award, which acknowledges an actor who has engaged the MTV audience throughout their career. Tom Cruise, Jim Carrey, Spike Lee, Mike Myers and Adam Sandler, have previously been honored with this award.
During Celebrity Rehab gig ,Tila Tequila set to reveal new drug of choice
As you may have heard, Tila Tequila will be joining the next season of VH1’s ‘Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew,’ that is if they are able to find a few other D-listers to join her.
Not unlike her ramblings of adopting, being pregnant, not being pregnant, the 28-year old self-styled ‘celebrity’ has already leaked that her visit will be to conquer her addiction sleep medication, Ambien.
“She would base her entire day around it,” an insider told Radar. “She would wake up, snort Ambien, Google herself, do more Ambien, Twitter all day and then sleep.”
The source also says that when Tequila used the sleep medication she would often become manic, and would spend hours tweeting. But hold on their, it now seems Tila is also into a recreational drug too, which probably better explains some of her off the wall behavior. “Ecstasy is her drug of choice,” a source close to the show told RadarOnline.com. Another source close to her tells Radar that Tila liked to do Ecstacy with then-fiancée Casey Johnson during their short-lived relationship, and they often got high together. Remember how they got engaged like practically after the first time they met? The source explains: “The night they first went public together on the red carpet, they were both high on E (ecstasy).” Explains a lot!
